CONSTRAINTS OF CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY!

On 21 November 1949, that in the Constituent Assembly Mr. Syed Mohd. Sadullah (Assam-Muslim), spoke thus:-

Sir, “I cannot stand here today without showing my dual personality that is being a member of Drafting Committee, who all those friends who have been kind enough to appreciate a hard work and dreary labour that the members of Drafting Committee to undertake throughout the last years, both on my behalf of myself as well as on behalf of colleagues of the Drafting Committee I bow my head in grateful thanks I am not undermindful conveying and thanks those critics who in their superior wisdom had thought fit to  criticise the shortcomings of the members of Drafting Committee. But, I constrained to say this day have looked into this Matter from a perspective
(i e) faulty from an out look that is wrong and from a focus (i.e),out of alignment.

Sir, “Drafting Committee was not a pre-agency. They were handicapped by various methods and circumstances from the start. We were only asked to check the body was nothing but the Objectives Resolution, which the Constituent Assembly passed. We are told that the Constitution must confirm and remain within the four corners of the Objectives Resolution.” Moreover, Sir, “whatever, we did have to be considered and accepted by this House. How dare  any member of Drafting Committee, be  so arrogant  as to  trust  opinion of the members against a total number of 308 in the House.

COMMENTS:
I agree with the Speaker Member, who said (it is an acknowledgement principle of psychology that Man is a creature of environment). The drafting Constitution, its members of Drafting Committee, where privileged to come before this House, could not evade this universal principle. They had to take  environment of the circumstances, prevailing in the country into consideration and many of the provisions, which are against the sense of democracy. Even the members of the Drafting Committee. One has to agree the remarks of the statement made by the Honorable Speaker.
