Provided the Summons is served on a Government employee, it shall be served on to the head of the Office in which the addressee of the Summons works and the Summons as usual sent to him in duplicates. The Head who receives the Summons must serve to the concerned addressee in accordance with Section 62 of Cr.P.C. and return a copy with his signature as endorsement for service of Summons. The signature shall act as evidence for the Summons served.
