LOGIC & REASONING IN EVIDENCE LAW!

Logic which is signs of reasoning has been divided into two kinds; one is called western logic propounded by Aristotle [300 BC] one of the disciple and teacher of King Alexander [Great?] which is called Western Logic and elaborately dealt with the logicians like J. F. Mill in his System of Logic and – the Eastern Logic called Nyaya Sastra propounded by the great thinker Akshapada – his work is one of the six darshanas. The Britishers consolidated and confused the whole issues revolving around the signs of reasoning – It is neither Aristotelian nor Asian. The production of Indian Evidence Act does not indicate any coherence of rational thinking. It was an instrument of colonized rules meant to rule the Indian population. Therefore, it becomes a duty of every Jurist of Bharat to produce an amended National Evidence Act.
