In Non-Cognizable Offence, Police requires an Order and or Warrant of Arrest from the concerned Magistrate either to conduct an inquiry and / or to arrest a person who has reasons to believe commissioned an offence under penal provisions and / or under any other Special Acts.
Certain offences comes under the purview of non-cognizable under IPC provisions and / or under any other Special Acts, in such case, the Investigation Officer requires to obtain Warrant of Arrest or an Order to conduct an inquiry from his Jurisdiction Court. Section 155 Cr.P.C. deals with information as to non-cognizable cases and investigation of such cases.
