Community Service Register in short called CSR.
The general procedure is that the Police upon receipt of a Complaint, and upon verifying the fact – whether the scene of crime alleged by the Complainant was occurred in its jurisdiction or not – and, if occurred in its Station limit, then register the same in its register, which is kept for this purpose, then they will issue a copy of the CSR to the Complainant as proof of his / her Complaint registered by it. The CSR Copy predominantly contains CSR No. with year, name and contact details of the Complainant and the Accused and the substance of the Complaint.
